My Old Dutch Pancake House

Right opposite our hotel in Holborn was the tempting site of My Old Dutch Pancake House. On Sunday afternoon, before our cross London tube ride and then the drive back to South Wales, we headed over the road for some much-needed sustenance.

In a highly unusual mood, I opted for a salad! The Greek salad on offer was rustic, as can be seen by the photo, but one could not fault them for the generosity of feta. At £6.25 it was a bargain.

In a more conventional move, Lesley chose a

sweet pancake (£7.50) with raspberries and blueberries (£1.95). When it arrived, the blueberries had been substituted for strawberries. It was not an  issue as Lesley likes both, but strange it was not mentioned by the excellent waitress.

The Americano coffee (£2.95) was good, and the caffeine boost was just what we needed before the long journey home.

Looking at the menu selection, we are definitely tempted to return for breakfast.
